 KIRSTEN SAVAGE sees the potential in each student, and has the knowledge, technique, and experience to direct that potential toward a positive experience with art. With tailored instruction to meet each individual’s needs, beginners blossom and more advanced students find that each class offers new challenges and opportunities to develop and strengthen their paintings. ______________________________________ THE ART OF PAINTING Develop your oil painting technique and imagination! By watching live demonstrations, participating in an active dialogue about art, and studying the masters, students gain the skills needed to make successful representational oil paintings. Working from live models, still life, and master works students focus on innovative composition, color, value, and draftsmanship in a relaxed and supportive group environment. $135/month
Tuesdays, 2:00 - 5:00pm or 6:00 - 9:00pm All ability levels, ages 16+ __________________________________ OIL PAINTING: NUTS AND BOLTS First time oil painters will love this introductory workshop that explores the beauty and fun of oil painting! Receive individual instruction and watch live demonstartions as you learn to really "see" what you paint. Students develop an understanding of materials and basic painting techniques as they create their first work of art. $65, one 3-hour class, includes all materials.
